David Kapanadze

David is a founding partner at LPA Law and advises clients on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, telecommunications, e-commerce, investment, fintech, administrative and tax law matters, as well as general corporate work, including reorganizations, restructurings and employment-related advisory.

David has acted as lead counsel on a number of mergers and acquisitions in the telecommunications sector, as well as across other non-regulated industries, supporting clients throughout the transaction lifecycle – from structuring and negotiation to completion and post-closing implementation.

Clients value his problem solving and strong drafting skills in high-stakes transactions and complex advisory mandates.

He is listed as “Highly Recommended” in Lexology for Telecoms, Media & Entertainment and is the only practitioner in Georgia ranked by the directory in this category.

In parallel to his practice, David teaches two courses, “Deals: Law and Economic Theories” and “Simulation of the Share Purchase Transaction”, to second-year LLM students at Free University of Tbilisi.

He is a native Georgian speaker and is fluent in English and Russian.
